London Attacks

July 13, 2005


The Board of Directors of the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy (CSID) in

Washington, DC, strongly condemns the terrorist attacks of July 7 on the innocent people of London.

These senseless attacks are in complete violation of the basic moral and ethical principles of Islam and of other faith traditions.

As Americans from different faith communities, we lend our voices of support to all those who have denounced these heinous crimes and maintain that there is absolutely no justification for them on any grounds.

Our deepest condolences go out to the British people who have lost loved ones during this national tragedy.

We extend our fullest support to all those working in concert to bring the perpetrators of these atrocities to justice.
